Soft Landscaping: White Horse Meadows, Banbury

In November, our Soft Landscaping team attended White Horse Meadows in Banbury to complete a tree planting scheme for Kendrick Homes.

Head of Soft Landscaping, Giorgo, and Senior Team Leader, Nick, alongside Billy, one of our Team Leaders, and Graeme, our Operations Manager, planted over 60 native trees at the site. A variety of fruit trees producing apples and pears will be enjoyed by the residents in the years to come.

The team also completed native hedge planting at White Horse Meadows. Species included hazel, holly, acer and spindle, all of which are native species that help to improve the biodiversity on the site.

Kendrick Homes aim to design and build their homes with the future in mind. They use sustainable materials and advanced technology to ensure that their homes remain energy efficient and reduce their impact on the environment. They carefully consider every stage of their construction process, and are planting 280 new trees in total to strengthen woodland habitats and help local wildlife to flourish.

4th Corner worked at White Horse Meadows earlier this year to complete wildflower seeding works.
