In 2017 4th Corner won the contract to provide our Grounds Maintenance Services to Advance. Advance are a Registered Provider of Social Housing with the Homes & Communities Agency, and a charitable organisation who provide housing and support for adults with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) recently found impressive new premises in Chilton, Oxfordshire, taking residence in October 2016. Soon after securing the premises, 4th Corner were asked to take on the task of getting the gardens and grounds looking their best, and to take on the Grounds Maintenance thereafter.
Guinness is one of the largest affordable housing and care providers in the country, with over 60,000 homes and has 120,000 customers nationally. 4th Corner has been awarded the contract for 2014 - 2017 to maintain the gardens and grounds of housing developments in Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham. This contract is a rewarding one as this historic and prestigious national housing charity provides high quality homes in a diverse range of buildings throughout the South West.
4th Corner was awarded the on-going contract to care for the gardens and grounds of The Foscote Private Hospital in 2013 and we have been continually improving and looking after this important site ever since. The Foscote Hospital has recently come out of a ten year management contract with a large healthcare company and has returned to independent status. The Foscote Private Hospital is a charitable trust and is committed to providing services to patients in Banbury, Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas of Northants, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire.
4th Corner are now in charge of the gardens and green spaces of the Milton Keynes and Chiltern sector of People for Places Housing Association. The contract extends to approximately 30 sites in and around Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedford. Places for People are one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK. They own or manage 148,000 homes throughout England and Wales.
CP Bigwood operate across Birmingham, Warwickshire and the Midlands from three prominent offices in Birmingham City Centre, Stratford upon Avon and Henley in Arden. 4th Corner Landscaping have contracts to carry out the grounds maintenance on many of their Residential Developments including the Axis Residential Development in Central Banbury. The Axis site has includes over 300 new homes, a primary school and community centre.
4th Corner Landscaping were proud to win the business for the landscaping of this entire project, including planting over 500 sqm of wildflowers, turfing and extensive tree and hedgerow planting. The frequent difficulty of finding moorings for narrow-boat purchasers prompted owner Tim Langer to seek suitable sites to develop for public marina's., and an ideal site was found at Cropredy on the southern Oxford Canal. Construction began in September 2012 and Phase I opened on August 31, 2013. The second basin opened in November 2013.
